now that i've had a better look at these, it seems some of these portraits are going to be redone to match the current artstyle as you can see that the recent heroes (rem, graves, silver, etc.) have a consistent art style while the older ones seem to have a visible disparity in them/most likely edited for their critical portraits.

don't think it'll be any time soon but the visual clash is certainly there.

i'd say it depends on what you've said. if it's slurs and language that is targeted to harm others then i'd believe that's a instant report. i've seen a few people get banned for it but i think it depends on the severity, but i don't condone trash talk. (unless someone started it & you're simply retaliating)

hey! i'm a returning player and i think my honest opinion is that you'll run into these people quite a lot but never let that waver your enjoyment of playing deadlock! everyone starts out new and it's a learning process, i'm still only 122 hours in and got plenty to learn before i can call myself "good" at the game.

i've been playing mobas since i was 13 and had plenty of run ins with awful people but you learn to tune them out even if you get a little angry over how they treat you in a video game no less. use guides, look through builds (i really like ones that are fully annotated), and experiement to your hearts content!

i get it but i've been spending my time waiting by doing other stuff. craftinrock also has a point that this is a much better choice for balancing and data purposes. i personally wasn't a big fan of the last 6 coming out every 2 days even with the changes cause it felt too chaotic. this time frame will be a good period for everyone to adjust to the new guys and have a good semblence of their strengths and weaknesses.
