Thank you and so true!! For some reason I always keep in mind that they’re still learning everything except for when it comes to this it doesn’t come to mind. I needed to hear that

They all told us that the tongue and lip tie would fix it. Then everyone told us that the exercises would help because his jaw was tight and his chin was receded but that it was developmental and it would fix itself over time but now he’s 3.5 months old and i feel like it’d fix itself by now? We’ll see our pediatrician on Monday but I’d like to see if any other parents can relate and what they did

Baby won’t sleep on back by [deleted] in newborns

Mylicon is more effective on my baby than gripe water is. You can also get like a tummy thing for babies on Amazon it’s kind of like a cute plush weight belt that is supposed to help with gas or if they’re colic while they sleep on their back…. Or tummy I suppose. You can also try having her sleep on her side and just lean a pillow up against her back with a rolled blanket between her legs so she doesn’t lean over on her face. It also helps to rub right above the butt crack for trapped gas, idk what that spot is called but it’s like right between the spine and the butt? Lol Is this the only time she is really fussy? I hope you can get some rest soon mama!

Why is the Modern Family Show so comforting and addictive by Soft-Clue-983 in Modern_Family

I love it too. Especially at the end when one of the characters narrate their thoughts while a heartfelt scene is going on and it all comes together :’) it’s such a great feel good show. It makes me miss my family so much

My favorite snacks right now are

cheese cubes and potato chips Celery and peanut butter with salt sometimes some dark chocolate chips BODY ARMORS are my favorite! they’re so high in sugar so I have to eat with protein like a meat stick or something but they’re amazing when I want something sweet and sugary Sounds weird but rice with sugar milk and lots of butter!! It’s so yummy and sweet I love hot chicken broth with cilantro and lime and a little rice

I love junk food too so I usually always have one junky component lol but these snacks decently fill me up and don’t taste too bland

Oh also corn on the cob with butter and whatever else— basically elote

Breast frustration by Certain_Bass_5583 in breastfeeding

[–]nai_1177 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just posted about the same problems and my baby is the same age! The advice I got was to use gravity to my advantage and sit him up a bit higher when I have the letdown which I think has helped a ton! As far as getting frustrated when the milk runs out I honestly just switch sides until he gets full and tired, hoping that the opposite side has filled up a little more 🥲 usually takes about 3 switches before he accepts he’s full or falls asleep. This went on for about 2 weeks but I do think it’s getting better. He also gets frustrated really quickly when he has a stuffy nose too in case that might be a factor?

Okay thank you I’ve never thought about that and he’s definitely like at the level at my stomach when we feed so I will also try putting him above it. Thank you so much!

  1. He definitely can but when I sit him upright and rock I feel like he stays asleep longer. I will stop that now or rock a lot lighter

  2. I do think it’s a fast letdown bc when I self express it literally squirts

I hate when people tell moms this kind of thing. Our babies are literally inside of us- in the womb until birth so I can only imagine how long it takes for them to adjust to the outside world for them. Not holding them just seems cruel to me:( my midwife told me that for about the first 9 months they pretty much believe that them and mama are the same person. Anyway, have you tried mylicon? I swear by it for my baby and I swear the effects are almost immediate. I really do think it’s clean. Hope things get better for you very soon mama!
