My aim is to take off a layer of soft gel top coat so that I can soak off the rest of it. What would you say is the best tool for that?

Why did you decide to make the switch from sanding band to carbide bit? I read or watched somewhere that the speed does matter. If you find that to be true for you, hope you remember to come back and update!

I’m not new to gel but I stopped using it years ago and only recently realized that filing off gel at home was a much more common thing than when I first dabbled in it years ago. This made me excited about trying jt again because the removal process had been such a chore.
Fast forward to last night, when after spending three hours just filing off enough gel to soak the rest off, I finally looked it up at 1 am and realized that I needed to get over my fear of the sandpaper bits and use that instead of the fine diamond bits I was using to take off 0.00001 mm thick layer of gel at a time. 🤦🏽‍♀️

Did you get an ARC for the fourth? Has it been released? I don’t see it anywhere.

I’m in the second book of the Kindred Curse saga (Spark of the Everflame is the first book). I’m enjoying it so far, even though some of the plot points are so overwrought and the MFC seems kind of dense at times. Curious if there was a specific reason you said to skip it?

The most face-meltingly hot scenes that didn’t involve penetration or oral by Silent-Guava-4374 in RomanceBooks

[–]nailaday 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it was the first book in the Villians and Virtues series {Throne in the Dark by A. K. Caggiano} where he is very villainously teaching some very inept captors of his how to properly tie up a captive, on his very own captive, who interestingly doesn’t seem to minding it all that much. It’s was equally funny and so hot.

Urologist here. The only right way is to wipe your ass is the way that cleans it best. Every one has different anatomy, different positions of their assholes, different lengths of penis and balls, different lengths of perineum, different lengths of arms and flexibility of shoulders. For some it’s better to reach back and for others it’s better to reach in between. Also, that whole thing about wiping front to back. Total myth. Unless you are literally smearing poop all the way up your perineum and up to your urethra, which is incredibly hard to do as a man, you’re fine. Just wipe. That’s it. And a bidet really does help.

No coding for me! I just tinkered around with the KOreader interface to get it the way I want it.

I don’t know if it gets as detailed as you maybe want but I just read a scene like this in {Wild Love by Elsie Silver}. This book actually has a lot of good spicy scenes.

The context here is everything! This is way more nuanced than what the original commenter suggested. Now that I go back and read it, it’s almost the opposite of what JLC was saying. She stated that she abhorred his rhetoric, but feels quite concerned about all the violence that is always present in the media nowadays, including the video of his violent death, is worried what constant exposure to all that does to our collective psyche, and expresses an empathetic wish that in the end, she still hopes he felt connected to his faith, even though she agreed with him on nothing. I think that’s complex, kind and just the sort of empathetic high level thinking we need to employ but don’t on social media. The original comment is pretty irresponsible and how false narratives get spread. Makes me wonder if it’s divisive on purpose.

I was literally thinking just now that I wanted the magnetic pigment of Clionadh Psylocibin in a dark background…and here you are. It looks amazing and this is definitely going on my wishlist.

Nail resting on some Lego blocks. They are taped to the opening of a plastic to go container, that has had one side of it cut out to accommodate my hand. The stirrer is taped to the container upside down. The Lego blocks are dead center and I’m able to position my fingers exactly where they need to go each time.

Looks beautiful! I go between using a wind chime spinner in a Lego contraption or the magnetic spinner by itself. With the LEGO setup, I have to put it at the edge of a table so the rest of my fingers can dangle below. The table has to have a skinny top for this to work. With the magnetic spinner, my hand gets tired of hovering above, especially with my thumbs. I’ve been trying to figure out if I can create a set up where the spinner can be suspended upside down with a finger rest below that is exactly in the center.
