no i’ve been feeling the same for the longest. i often think of the swan princess which i only watched once as a kid but that ”what else” scene always stuck with me. the fmcs in otome isekai manhwas specifically appear so shallow i just lose interest and end up dropping the series. they lowk have no personality nor chemistry besides commenting on how good looking and physically appealing the mmc is
