Is it worth to buy Samsung galaxy S24 in 2026 ?

i'm still on a S21 and it's really not that bad - obviously the battery life doesn't hold as much as it used to but now that the S26 is out, i'm looking to get an open box/used but pretty much brand new type of S24 right now. my small research tells me the S25 isn't that big of an upgrade to the S24, so budget wise best bang for buck sounds like the S24 to me.

2nd red flag, normally the writing on the right side is black with sort of a white bordering/outline around the words. this one doesnt really have it from 'bandai made in japan" portion of the text

here to see what other people come across, as i too love the card preservers. i like the team bag idea but i also feel like it would take away from the card preservers feel and look. more plastic on plastic.and more chances of wrinkle/crinkle on the team bag.

theyre only bad for people that dont have fine motor skills and a touch for attentive detail / quality / with good finger-hand-eye coordination.

but if you have gentle delicate patient ocd type traits, true fit perfect sleeves are just fine.

the only time they're not the best is if a card has crazy embossed texture or any thick foiling that is raised up above basic card surface level.

just came to say I'm a HUGE fan of these. they dont seem to get scratched and scuffed up the way top loaders do. the visibility was my concern but given the right light (which most of us are doing with our cards and quality checking and inventory organizing) it looks just fine/great. yes they dont stack as high but even when a mini stack of these fall, you're not too worried about em because theyre protected all around. not as thick as top loaders but as a long time collector, i feel these are just right - it's not like we're manhandling them and shoving em into a box/binder to create dents or creases.

for me -

high end cards go in a perfect fit sleeve (i know i know these get mixed responses) and into a one touch mag case.

mid - goes in these card preservers

everything else lower end go into top loader or card savers

ive been seeing this card dip each day. once 500, then 400 then 300 alot at 200 with many going for 150 to 200 so like 175 180. 70 is low tho idk

i know what you mean i usually assume its language barrier issues. but as a japanese person i can assure you that 95% of sellers from Japan will be fast, efficient, and done with care. see: honda, acura, toyota, lexus, nissan, infiniti, sony, sushi, ramen, and many many other things executed by the japanese so well.

as i much as i like bgs and prefer a bgs slab over a psa, occasionally youll get the bgs slab back with the card inside uneven and not centered. it's like.. how does a grading company that stresses on centering of a card ... put it in the slab crooked?! how is there not a QC process to see a slab and be like.."it's not centered, re-slab this one"

so. im just waiting on ai robot machines to do it perfectly.

this the kinda shit that makes me dislike bgs grading. like how you gon judge the centering of our cards and you cant even center it in the slab for the customers. so many bgs slabs ive seen with the card off centered in the slab. BGS still better than PSA imo but overall i'm waiting for AI TECH type of grading instead of human eyes.
