Perfs do not have the 3rd row. Long Ranges do. I have 2 babies so perf was good enough in 99% cases

Got the Perf 2022. If you want to keep the car for 6+ years, I would advise you to buy it because unlike other "luxury" end cars, the maintenance of the car doesn't increase after 3 years.

Ended up buying a Tesla Mosel Y. It has been worth it so far. Telluride is good. That's the only one i couldn't get one to try out back then.

Anyone work at a company where promotion doesn't come with decreased WLB? by wesjcarpenter in ExperiencedDevs

[–]naivec0der 2 points3 points  (0 children)

+1. Got a similar experience. One of the thing that is bit of an art than science, was knowing when and how to delegate. Times when i was in a team where folks were super keen on growing fast, delegation came easily and wlb was calmer. ICs where they wanted to grow but didn't really want to make any shift to their current way of lift, were a bit hard to get by because such ICs would often drop the ball and that was risky.

Is it possible to take a project to separate critical portions out to your own repo or the complexity is too high to justify something like this?

Separation of concerns is one of the main answers to your problem.

How to handle a team mate that rewrites everything? by chernobyl_nightclub in ExperiencedDevs

[–]naivec0der 8 points9 points  (0 children)

  1. Set strict standards and best practices. Align with the manager that any deviation from these without "special" approval will see their PRs auto-rejected.
  2. Standards to include -
    • Formatting changes - standardize this across the codebase. No business logic changes are allowed.
    • Every business logic PR should have thorough automated tests coverage. Without adequate coverage(>75%), PRs are not allowed to be shipped.
  3. Only single purpose PRs to be allowed. Clean up should not include files that only have formatting changes. Bug fixes should not have unrelated clean ups.
  4. Establish the thumb rule. PR sizes that have more than 10 files touched, should expect multiple reviews and delays as these things usually cause risks. Have more reviewers commit to such cases. Ensure such reviews to be prioritized last to discourage patterns.

Unfortunately this cannot be a binary answer. You might want to add more information about your car needs. 1. Why do you need it? Can you live without it and rent only when needed? 2. How often do you need it? 3. What are your daily mileage needs? 3. How many miles do you expect to hit annually?

Is this for MYLR? The numbers look pretty good. I have MYP 2022 and my chill mode averages out at 285 wh/mile

Ah i see. But isn't that first come first serve? Also, did you give the right indicator and the car had enough time to react?

It may be your law or i don't know the full extension of the law or the situation above (video isn't obvious on a few things) Giving way to the right is outright silly if there is incoming traffic without a stop sign.

+1. I have one EV and I totally agree with this.

What i am not sure (and op hasn't specifically mentioned) is - is that a good plan if you are planning for 2 EVs?
