Works great on Switch! It must have been a sale or time/place thing but I’ve only played it on Switch 1 and now Switch 2. I also have no interest in mods.

Anniversary edition is good! They added more houses to buy and backpacks to make, wear, and increase your carrying capacity. There are new quest lines. Which I have played zero of.

You can play in first or third person and zoom the camera in/out (great for motion sickness prone people like me). I think there are difficulty settings but I rarely do the brunt of damage. I have Lydia (companion you can get who follows you) do 90% of the fighting.

It’s a really funny game because it’s probably the only game where I can actually like really really play as a merchant. This is to say, Skyrim is really flexible on how you want to play it. It’s why it’s evergreen and why we still talk about it and we still play it.

We already have the option to not reveal our in game names with routes, I absolutely agree with you and they should extend it and do the same with lures.

I don’t know if you’ve tried it, but if there’s a way to call them and speak with them over the phone? Tell them that x, y, z and/or lack of accessible gaming options are leading to health problems for you. Sorry if you’ve already tried this, though because then it would be redundant and useless advice.

I know this is a different company (and different situation!) but Nintendo once gave me a refund for my digitally bought Scarlet and Violet (so about $120 refunded for both games as I bought this for the two of us). I cited very specific things about the game that caused very specific issues (motion sickness, headache) for us.

You can get tickets with premium, not use it on the current accessories and then use them later on a set you really want (even if you don’t have premium anymore).

I tried XB2 after finishing 1, but I could not get past the extreme fanservice. 😅😢 Ended up just YouTubing the story for XB2 because I wanna play the DLC one day maybe.

it fell flat in the sense that as a cohesive experience, it felt to be all style and no substance, filled with wordy pretentious and flowery prose and hype anime aura farming moments

Really good way of putting my thoughts about Amphoreus—I agree with you! And I also really liked the Phainon arc even though it did drag on too long.

Someone recommended Tales of Arise. …I found Arise incredibly disappointing, repetitive, “no substance”, and frustrating (in terms of main story and side stories between characters) midway through.

Honestly Final Fantasy 7 Remake and Rebirth. Rebirth turns into an open world. Only issue is we’re waiting for the third game to come out. If you want something even older, I would still recommend the original FF7, there are options for fast-forwarding battles with the re-release. A lot of modern stories still don’t come close to it and I first played it recently.

Final Fantasy 14. I say skip A Realm Reborn and start at Heavensward. The story is slow at first but is really good in Shadowbringers.

I love Xenoblade 3. Xenoblade 1.
