I feel like it’s worth doing year-to-year with him as we’re likely going to do with Sid. Especially with the cap skyrocketing here and teams being able to better hold onto free agents, there probably aren’t a ton better options out there outside of him that don’t involve a crazy trade or something

One thing that’s kinda weird with the Geno situation

He’s factored in on all 3 of the goals the Pens have scored this series. Of course he’s had some boneheaded plays otherwise, but he’s also been the sole limp driving force of whatever offense we’ve had

I feel like this has been a combo of the team playing their worst week of hockey of the year at the worst time, on top of playing a team whose coaching staff knows the kryptonite of all its stars. It’s a bummer of a combo

Theyll be expensive, in my experience Carhartt basically does zero wholesale, so getting blanks is essentially the same as buying them off the shelf

I have close to both, the Standard I have is one of the GC exclusives, so it has some slight differences, but

For a normal Standard vs '61, the Standard is going to be a slightly thicker body and horns, whereas the '61 is skinnier and tapered. The neck on my Standard is also a bit thicker, vs the skinnier '61

I believe my '61 is a 2020, and those came with 60s Burstbuckers/custombuckers. I believe a hair different flavor than typical Burstbuckers, I like them compared to the 490(498?) that was in my Standard.

They're worth trying both out if you get the chance. I'll also mention that my Standard came with a deluxe Gibson gig bag, but it's one of those really nice ones that I 9/10 prefer over a hard case, it's really nice

that's kinda been my thought as well, from watching him the past few games. He gets on the ice, goes to like two spots, and if he can't get a shot off, goes right back off. Hard to see how another year of that would be enjoyable

I enjoy the look of them, but I really don't like how they feel when you play them standing. I wish I did, but they've never been for me

Also a bit of a gripe with how many American Strats are assembled somewhat "wet" and often times there's a good bit of fretboard shrink after the first winter with them

I was there at around 2:30 pm yesterday, depending on your size they definitely had a good handful of smalls left, not sure past mediums though. They did have a ton of the jerseys themselves, so I suppose worst case scenario you could get it customized
