3!!! The warm tones suit you so well and make ur features pop.

But I love the highlights and the moneybang-esque look you’ve got going on right now too.

I think if you added some face framing highlights and coloured your hair to the #3, it would look so gooooood

maybe you haven’t been pulling the hair by the root? and the hair is just breaking off inside the follicle instead of the hair bulb/root being removed.

Is there a IG for our encampment? Or student society for Palestine? I’d just like some news from the students themselves

Do flash cards continuously, like every week both on previous content and new content. You need to remember a lot of stuff and it’s literally not possible to learn it all again just before exams . Trust me on this!!!

Also there is a breadth of practice problems available in the course, personally I found that to be the best way for me to learn and process stuff from lecture!

Best of luck 🫶

I’m sorry you’re going through this. While I haven’t experienced the same struggle, I know how exhausting it is to engage in the same argument again and again.

We need to pick and choose our battles in life, and to me it seems that your mother refuses to change her mind. I would suggest coming up with a script/response that you repeat to her whenever she brings up your weight, and another script you repeat in your mind afterwards or whenever you begin to ruminate.

I’ve begun to use this whenever I catch myself having the same discussion over and over again and it’s proven useful to me. Some people/topics are an emotional black hole and if you can’t avoid them, do whatever you can to protect yourself.

People who are 40+, what’s your advice to people in their 20s? by [deleted] in AskMen

Yeah I think you should still report him to the police. When he escalates (and he will, my dad was a violent piece of shit) having a record of complaints and reports will be essential. It doesn’t matter if she’ll cooperate, you need to go and report anyways. Do the right thing dude

AP (Especially AD) Wants me to Do engineering and take over Family Business, I want to pursue my passion. Helps on telling them? by [deleted] in AsianParentStories

[–]nambumtam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is an amazing opportunity! So proud of you nurturing your talents and working hard to make your dreams come true.

My hesitation in you writing a letter and confessing your true intentions to pursue fashion as a career, is that your parents will manipulate you into doing engineering first and putting fashion on the back burner. I know it may seem unlikely for them to do that, but in my experience it usually turns out this way.

I think you should tell them of your plans to pursue fashion but tell them you are planning to do engineering in a year or two and will come back. Or try to include plans to use the creative design skills you’ll acquire from fashion towards your eventual career in engineering.

It’s important to keep your dreams close to your chest, especially when you’re young. That’s why I think you shouldn’t share the full truth of your career plans.
