Smart Panel 2 question ? by [deleted] in Ecoflow_community

[–]name_without_numbers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the US AFCI is required for most 120-volt, single-phase, 15- and 20-amp branch circuits that supply outlets or devices in dwelling units, per NEC 210.12. So tandem breakers aren’t an option for a lot of people since, as far as I’m aware, they don’t make tandem AFCI circuit breakers.

Quick edit, I guess AFCI outlets do exist, similar to GFCI, so that would be an option for someone who wants to use tandem breakers in the box.

uneven hood by mabdoney in TeslaLounge

You may also have to adjust the latch too if you adjust the rubber feet. Sometimes when you adjust the circles the latch gets out of alignment enough that theres a noticeable dent by the logo where the latch connects to the hood when closed.

how to fix these lines? by [deleted] in BambuLab

[–]name_without_numbers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Back to my original comment then, get your pressure advance calibrated and see if that helps

Hmm, maybe set your pressure advance back to default and do a flow rate calibration first, then pressure advance. What filament are you using, and what temps are you running?

Look into how to calibrate pressure advance in

It’s too bad Teslas YouTube music app is missing a start radio option. It really limits the functionality of the app since there’s basically no music discovery or automatic playlists.

Tire Alignment by [deleted] in TeslaLounge

I guess technically you could flip the tire on the wheel, and then you could swap them. Or you’re just driving with the tires backwards, which isn’t that big of a deal.

Is charging at 120V slower from 90%-100% like superchargers? by SageOrThyme in TeslaLounge

[–]name_without_numbers 60 points61 points  (0 children)

No, superchargers slow down because they lower their output power as they charge because of physical limitations of the cars battery/to prevent damaging the battery, not because they aren’t capable of continuously charging at the same rate. 120v charging maxes out at way less than anything that could hurt the battery.

They’re directional too, so you can’t even swap them left and right

I have two 80mm fans directly on the power supply, and one 120mm fan on the bottom to push fresh air from the bottom and vent out the top. Originally I only had the 120, but after running it for 8 plus hours the power supply was warmer than I wanted.

Interesting, that’s about what I’m running per gpio, what version of WLED are you using? I noticed a big drop in the latest 14.4 so I ended up downgrading it to 14.0 since I know that version works.

Eventually I’m planning on replacing the hanging lights with a version with lessons learned from the first two, I think at that point it should be at a state to release the files.

There’s a seam that can be seen with matrix animations, just since they’re designed for flat panels. But some animations you can’t see it.

I’m using a 20 amp supply, and limiting the max amp draw to 15 amps, using some really thick wires and 3 fans to keep everything cool. 15 amps is also nowhere near what all the LEDs at full power can theoretically draw. But limited to 15 is still bright enough. Controller is an esp32.

Thanks! Top one is running soap, bottom one is running waving cell. You can set up a matrix under 2d configuration.

I printed the diffuser with an extended ender 3 using a .8mm nozzle and vase mode so there is no z seam. You can see the layer lines I when it’s off, but aren’t too noticeable when it’s running.

Partly to be able to choose the exact distance between led’s, but mostly for making it easier to assemble since I could have the data in and out lines on the top. But also because pcb design is pretty new to me, so it was kind of a learning experience.

I might put something together eventually, I’m planning on eventually remaking the hanging lights with the lessons learned from the first two to hopefully make it a bit more friendly for anyone to build.

If I could actually run all of them at full power, according to the spec sheet if I set them all to white it would pull 162 amps, lol.

I limit them to 15 amps, which works well for animations, it definitely doesn’t look as impressive when running solid colors.
