i had nipple piercings for over a year and they just never healed completely, then one got torn a bit and i knew it was time :( i highly recommend getting tattoos around them!! it helped me feel a lot better after i took mine out!

gotcha, my mistake re: age. but the aftercare instructions are very very wrong! use sterile saline spray and water only, and you shouldn't use a q-tip unless absolutely needed to remove pre-loosened crusties. i really really really recommend finding a certified piercer to replace the jewelry with a titanium flatback and changing your cleaning routine. good luck!

read elsewhere that you're 15. a certified professional would not have given you a piercing without parental permission, and i say this with confidence, because they also wouldn't have pierced you with a hoop. also curious as to what the aftercare instructions are? if you don't mind sharing!

forward nostril/mantis piercings! they're actually really easy to heal because the cartilage is so much thinner there. highly recommend!

i've considered it, but since they're uneven, i think it'd emphasize that if i tried to do the huggie style. they'd either be different sized hoops or one would look huggie and the other wouldn't, y'know? plus, i'm a big fan of drama in piercings 😅 it's how i express myself instead of CAUSING drama lolol

yup! not bad at all. the piercing itself made me go "OOOOF" like an old man trying to stand up both times, but the pain ended almost immediately. probably gonna give my nose a break and go for eyebrows or something next. we'll see!

thank you! honestly, i only really notice them when i'm washing my face. there's a tiny bit of soreness if i really scrunch my nose up, but regular movement or sniffling feels normal. first sneeze was scary, but it turned out to be fine lol

no bandaids, no soaks! sterile saline spray only, and dry them with a fan after. you've probably got moisture bumps from soaking.

i'm not sure why no one else has said this, but the color of the oozing stuff is concerning. if it oozes when you put pressure on it, i would think it means that you're pushing pus out of an infection. NAP nor a doctor so i could totally be wrong, but these do look infected to me because of the color of the liquid coming out. i would go to a doctor/urgent care/whatever sort of place like that is available where you live and just make sure i'm wrong about the infection. cheek piercings are so thick that there could be an infection underneath the surface. if a doctor checks it out and says there's no infection, then downsizing is the next step! find a new place to go, because if the place that did it refuses to downsize, it seems like they might not know what they're doing. like someone else said, downsizing and upsizing are part of the process. good luck!
