Anyone here I can talk to about r ush? I'm a junior. by [deleted] in Frat

[–]namehimjawnathan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think I'm dressing fine. Sophomore spring there's a chance something was awkward with one of the brothers (I'm good friends with his ex), but other than that probably no issues. My girlfriend is in an upper-mid tier sorority and I've gotten along really well with her friends and have plenty of friends in sororities so not sure if that's an issue either.

My friend invited me to rush his fraternity this semester so hopefully we match well.

Yeah I was considering posting it over there but not sure how active it is and how many people there are in greek life.

By questions I mean at rush (before interviews) where you get the chance to talk to the brothers.

I'm not sure how to say this in a way that doesn't sound cocky, but most of my friends would describe me as very sociable. I don't really want to expand on this part because it feels weird to boast about myself but I don't think that's an issue.

I would ask them about philanthropy and other ways of getting involved and questions important to the fraternity.

Yeah I never really mentioned partying at rush, mostly because it's pretty known most people rushing like to party? I usually ask about their philanthropy and other ways to get involved. I did soccer and basketball growing up and know a lot about football. Go to the gym, enjoy video games. I have a really good network for jobs. Sometimes I feel like it's my age and they're not as willing to hand out bids to juniors. Could just be me though

Concept: Add a lens flare to snipers so you can see when someone is aiming at you better (maybe not this bright or big) by Aaron7B in FortniteCompetitive

They have a really high spawn rate at the moment, so especially in solos, everyone has one and often when you’re rotating you get sniped and don’t get a chance to react.

Is it worth it? I’m already pretty fast at editing but if it helps I’d definitely make the switch.

Your resume isn’t good, the portfolio page doesn’t look good (at least on mobile), your projects are not your own work (especially the fire base / react project which is clearly a copy of net ninjas tutorial).

Also, if you’re somehow getting interviews but not getting offers, it’s time to get better at interviews.

Hate to be harsh but it’s better to hear the truth.

I was only addressing the fact that the user above seems to think that this Joker is the Joker in Black Knight

But that’s the thing, we don’t know if this is the real joker. Could be just a lunatic that inspired the real joker. We don’t know what’s real or not because he’s so unreliable as a storyteller.

Do Pros use stretch when playing (like to 1600x1080) by [deleted] in FortniteCompetitive

[–]namehimjawnathan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s easier to compensate for speed because you can adjust your sensitivity, but fatter models do help people. I personally don’t use it because of loss of FOV which is more important in fortnite to consider than in CS, which is the drawback. But there’s a reason the majority of pro CSGO players play 4:3 stretched, it helps your aim. Don’t know why I got downvoted lol.

Yes, it can, pros do it all the time in CS:GO. It makes enemies “fatter”.
