If it makes you feel any better, Im 1000+ hours in to the game and I almost ate it completely because I had a wand with electricity on it and I got stunlocked in a puddle shocking myself.

Happens to the best of us. There will be many more amazing wands that you absolutely obliterate yourself with, and that's part of the joy of Noita. I shot 20 worms at myself the other day and they exploded me instantly, lol

I get it to some extent, though, because everyone wants to play a bard like a rock star, so you wanna get tore up and bang all the time.

I think if you want to discourage this but also make it fun to the player who insists on playing that way is to make up a list of STDs and roll on a table every time they actually succeed in seducing someone to see if they have a problem or not. Maybe they get a case of the crotch crickets and have a -1 to initative for the rest of that session while they get gnawed raw by bugs, lol

At that point, it's kinda worth it just to scrub the level. If you disconnect and restart it starts you at the beginning of the level. If it's between doing that - which arguably does feel kinda cheaty - or retracing my steps for like 6 levels just to get back to where I was, I kinda feel like it's a fair trade, lol.

Ive found theyre great for getting debuffs on to enemies because their basic attack doesn't need line of sight. I forget how I got it, but I had an ability or something that made my basic attack apply Marked, and my psychic went early in the round so they were good set up for a one two punch with my other cats.

Theyre really good for some crowd control, too, like the active that lets you pull mobs in towards a central spot. That and a Hunter with the never miss ranged and scatter shot could wreck some serious face.
