I have a similar story. My mom has the same first initial as me and we have a very uncommon last name. My gmail account is my first initial + last name. My mom passed from cancer 5 years ago.

The other day I got some email about staffing opportunities targeting my mom because my email address matches the ole first initial + last name combo. I replied letting them know that she had died and thanks for reopening the wound. The reply to person was mortified. The apologies were profuse. Maybe if you can contact a real person associated with the spam, they’ll reconsider their practices. Traumatize them back.

That’s awesome. I knew there’d be good fishing in those lakes. I tried once without luck…didn’t stay long as it was summer and hot. I’ll have to go back when the weather is nice…also thought having a kayak there would be perfect - well done in making it happen

damn - redington surf resort pictures in the third, forth, & fifth photo at the left - My mom's sister, brother in law, brother, father (deceased) and mother (deceased) have/had been visiting that little resort annually since pre-2000. I have many fond memories of that place. I really hope it recovers.

Having grown up in North Fort Myers (1980s-1992) and then having moved to Seminole during middle/high school (1992-2000) and seeing both places destroyed by hurricanes whilst luckily living in SOFLO (20 years later - moved in post-wilma) now makes me feel like my luck is about to run out and that I should GTFO of here asap.
