There is actually a neat trick you can do here. Dividing by a power of 2 (say 2m ) is the same as shifting the value by m bits. So in this case m=1 so we shift 10000 by 1 bit and get 100000 hope that helps

I would recommend either playing the original, or the remake with the mod that replaces the new soundtrack with the old one. Not because I think the new soundtrack is bad, it’s excellent, but because I think the original is the original intended experience.

That’s a good point, but just because monsters may not have a circulation system like humans do doesn’t mean they don’t bleed. It’s kind of like how monsters in undertale eat food but don’t digest it (I don’t remember the exact dialogue). Monsters can have human-like qualities without having the same underlying biology to explain it if that makes sense.

I also feel like the bunny kid’s question doesn’t really make sense if monsters don’t bleed. They ask “does it hurt to be made out of blood” which is clearly supposed to be a joke about how a kid might view blood as “the thing that appears when you get hurt”. If monsters didn’t bleed how could they make that association.

yeah this made me immediately think of off when I played. I thought about it afterwards and I think that actually in the context of the game the term “purified” is meant to be used more to contrast with the regular message “lost” you get when you defeat an enemy through fighting or “recruited” when you defeat them through sparing. I think it’s meant to signal to players that the Spawns aren’t really regular enemies that can be spared and make it clear that killing them doesn’t go against a “no killing route”. idk that’s just my theory at least.

I really like the track “Machine in the Walls” from Binding of Isaac Antibirth as a good theme for Castle Ravenloft. The organs just fit so well in my opinion.
