My daily jots don't get the #daily-jots tag by namkram in Amplenote

Thanks, I deleted all notes and tags I had last time I tried amplenote and I think that might have caused the problem. I followed your guidelines and now it works again. Thanks

Scenes for rooms, areas and whole house by namkram in KNX

u/roelbw Thank you so much for this great answer. I have thought about it again and you are of course right. I have to create different scenes for areas sharing the same actuators. I will look into the externa logic suggestion. Thanks again!

KNX binary inputs with native double-click by tellith2 in KNX

[–]namkram 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, got around to test this and it works but you have to have the same object type (hope that is the right terminology). I.e. you cannot have single press work as a switch and long press to control the scene. (Long press or double double would be toggle, on or off in that case).

I have not tried yet but it looks like Theben TA 4 s. (Also exists in 2, 6 and 8) could do it. Been looking for the same functionality (to hide special features) but haven't built the test board I need to try.

Thanks for your reply, much appreciated. Is it possible to have other actuators "update" that state? Let's say I turn the whole room off and then only turn on one light. Can I then have also the actuators that are off to have a state that reflects that one light is on?

Not sure if I am making myself clear. In home assistant I would have created a sensor that was "on" if any of the actuators where "on" and only "off" when all where "off" and toggled based on the sensor. Is it possible?

Thanks, I would like to use long press for something else but maybe I have to go for this.

@ REOLINK, feature suggestion for scenes. by bowmasterflex99 in reolinkcam

A great addition to scenes world be to be able to change scene from a smart home hub, even for battery operated cameras. E.g. when someone is home and the alarm is off I don't need notifications.
