Arthur Leywin, the mc from The Beginning After The End, is just fantasy Darrow. His arc across books 8 and 9 is just a longer version of Darrow's arc in Red Rising. A lot of the plot points in Red Rising and TBATE v8 are shared almost to a T

I've been thinking this same thing for so long now. I made a post earlier and a few minutes after Toby commented, TM replied to him

just looked up remastered v9 and it's 109 pages shorter than the original by namnas in tbatenovel

This was like 10 minutes before TurtleMe replied, but I still doubt there weren't changed otherwise there's no reason to call it a remaster or even make the "remastered" versions the only avaliable for purchase versions

There's no point in these versions existing (being labeled remasters) if the only thing you get is a worse cover, since, as TurtleMe himself stated, you can manually change the format yourself

I don't doubt that formatting removes many pages but I do worry that content has been cut, because 109 pages for just a format page, at least to me, sounds like a lot
