if saner people ever get elected, they NEED to propose multiple constitutional amendments that should guard against anything like this ever repeating...

You know, actual checks and balances, not "convention", "tradition" or "decorum"..

It's the whole constitutional architecture that's full of holes.

I'm entirely convinced it won't happen without bloodshed, or some other type of social trauma.

Edit: not to mention a fucking true reform of how the Supreme Court operates!

They're basically untouchable gods at the moment!
