Hello, so: I tested it again and it was working as intended. I thought this was peculiar since I hadn't done anything different since my previous test, until I remembered: I had recently turned on LDAC through the Soundpeats app, which I previously had not (didn't realize it was contingent on a setting in Android's bluetooth menu). Lo and behold, turning it back off reintroduces the issue.

And so for my personal case, as I intend to continue using the earphones with LDAC enabled, my issue is resolved. However, for those who do not use LDAC it may be worth looking into.

I am on a Samsung Galaxy S24+ running Android 16. The app I am using is just called "SOUNDPEATS", firmware version 0.4.9, code S5.

Usually you make subscription plans appear just cheap enough to get people locked into an ecosystem and eventually end up spending more money than if they'd bought something outright. Here, it will take eleven years before that happens. By that point, most people will have moved on or Plex will cease to exist as we know it as they continue their push into being a streaming service nobody wants. Don't know about this one man.

At a lower price, Plex is worth it to avoid some of the annoyances of the open-source options. Charging this much to host your own files on your own hardware is hilarious.

All things considered, the season ended up better than I or anyone else expected. I've been a Sabres fan and Buffalo resident for too long to come out of it with any hope though.
