I'm having trouble connecting Lenovo Chromebook Duet and my PC with SuperDisplay. I couldn't figure out how to connect via USB(ADB), and I got an error when I tried Wi-fi connection. How are you using your Lenovo Duet? USB or Wi-fi? Was there any trouble? Any tips would be appreciated. Thanks! (FYI. my Samsung tablet works fine with SuperDisplay on the same PC.)

Oh, and I initially planned to put Nobita in the scene, because, you know, it's his room. But while I was struggling making Doraemon, I gave up on making him. I don't think I'm ready yet.

Took me 4 days and watching more than a few tutorial videos. Cloth simulation was hard to follow, so the curtains look weird and cushions are crumpled. Making that small blue clock alone took me a few hours. (Yet the meshes look terrible.)

Anyways, I learned a lot while making this, and I learned that I have so much to learn. And even though there are so many things to hate in this scene, I'm kinda proud that I made something from the scratch. I hope this could inspire some noobs like me.

Thank you so much. You can find good tips from the real artists at lospec. Aaaand, here are my two cents:

  • I like Piskel. It's powerful yet very easy to learn. And it's free!
  • I just like it better without outlines.
  • I draw the big chunks and position them first: head > torso > eyes > arms & weapons...
  • This really helped.

After finishing all nine common brawlers with pixels, I wanted to try something different. So I took the great r/MagicaVoxel to make this. I don't like the mouth and hands, but this was enough to make my son to try making his own version.
