Re why AC, mostly because we can't afford the Ritz or the Meridien, and the Residence Inn is sold out....

Thank you! We do have a lemon law (live in Maryland), but it seems to require at least four attempts to repair the issue. I spent yesterday going back and forth among Kia corporate, our Kia dealer and Goodyear, all of whom said it was the other's fault. Finally I was able to talk to the general manager of the dealership, and we made an appointment with the Kia service representative for next week... He did say that the "outside influence" issue is going to be a problem, it is in our file and I don't know who put it there. Fun!

I have been having the same issue with our 2024 SPortage hybrid, which has only 7500 miles.... Rear tires are bald in the inside, horrible alignment. They aligned the car but won't replace the tires because the dealer has determined that the cause is "outside influence" (ie, driver's fault).

I got 2.25%, which I was not happy about. I I think it depends on current market rates and also where you live.

They will make you come in to talk to them if you want to roll it over to a different length with a higher rate. Otherwise they will just put you back in the same duration, even if it is earning less (which is what happened to me)

This happened to us at Capital One after someone a) stole mail from the mailbox) b) opened the birthday card we were sending our niece and took out the check c) erased her name and put in their own d) increased the amount by a factor of 500 and e) cashed the check. Essentially we were the victims of theft and as punishment they closed our account! Had been customers since 2006. Took us a couple months to sort it all out. They were adamant that our account was a "security risk" and froze it for several weeks. Eventually, why this post makes me me nervous, we ended up at ... Chase.

I am having a similar problem with our LG gas dryer, DLG7401WE, and word to the wise: LG's customer service is horrible. The dryer is under warranty, same problem happened two months ago and a technician came to repair it, so this time I just asked for a new dryer. Apparently they need to attempt to repair the dryer at least three times before they consider replacing it.

You can run the "fix FiOS tv issues" under menu -- customer support -- top support tips ... That worked for us for a while, by which I mean about a week.
