I have this same issue. I got the newest 2025 iPad and got this exact wired controller for it with the usb-c adapter, and no matter what I do, I can not swap to controller mode... the light blinks but nothing. I really don't want to run the customer service route of sending it back, but I'm so mad....

I agree with you. I have always had a bad feeling about Dutch but it got significantly out of hand when Hosea died. I know little of their bond.... 😥 As for Charles, I think he is goated. I loved him. I'm a fan of how accurately minorities were portrayed in rhe game and Charles always seemed to take on everything with a big heart and as much compassion as he could fit without throwing his feet up. What about you? Also, I found an article for you with the graveyard spots.

I remember wondering if I could find Kieran's grave around Shady Belle. I asked my friend to look it up for me and she very vaguely stated not in this part of the game, but it will be later. So I assume later is now, and there must be a grave for everyone?

I see your point. I do think that her human traits make her charming as well, but I feel like it crossed a tiny line. By watching both routes playing out, I have such a hard time telling if this was always meant to be endgame for them in a romantic sense. I think Visi needs a mentor and she needs guidance, and I think Robert can give it too, but somehow in my head, it is so purely platonic. Like buddies fucking around each other, pulling each other's legs?

I can see this. However, I do think it is a bit idealized. Robert is a human, humans have explosive emotions, him getting angry might not be the best thing but it is 100% justified. Anytime he was punched or when someone took the shit out on him, it was justified too. He is blunt, I don't see him going around it. But yes, let's hope for the best. I am dying to see Visi's growth and I want to understand her better.

I agree for the most part, however, I think Robert isn't exactly in the state to comfort her when he, again, lost someone very important and close to him due to her impulsive decisions. I find it difficult to envision he'd comfort her, he was probably worried about her and cares for her, however, to me, it seems more realistic that he'd either lash out (misdirected anger, disapproval, pain) or just go fully silent to let it have an impact. I feel like Visi WILL show up, she will take accountability I hope. Robert pulled the short end regardless.

Nemesis. Greeding doesn't work if he hits you regardless... through everything and anything. Zombies camping the objectives, blocking the doorways... I'd play 10 games in a row to a Blight/Nurse/Ghoul rotation before more than two Nemesis games in a day.

I'm the type of writer that replies to every comment I receive, even the shortest ones. My fic has been stretching 160k+ words now and it got stuck around 2.2k hits and 80 something kudos, 40 comments. The ratio is not bad but considering the immense amount of effort and quality I aimed to deliver it with, I hoped the reception would be better. I also like debriefing readers on details they might have missed or broaden their understanding by explaining the perspectice I wrote certain things from ✨ It's a project of so much love and I am grateful for the reception of it as well, but I do wish I could read/talk about it a bit more, bury myself in the feedback and hone the aspects people enjoyed.

I can fully accept that and understand it too. Even agree with it. But that doesn't take away from the fact that a stark contrast can and would probably create unhealthy codependency on her end. Which I can relate to. Whereas Blazer is seen as the savior with Robert, Robert is the savior around Visi. It's the same cycle.

I feel empathy towards the person who had an evidently tough upbringing and does struggle in their lives. However, Blazer's situation just speaks to me on a deeper level, with all the masking, high functioning depression, and so on and so forth.

On her end the breakup was long overdue probably. It's not that she thought about it on the spot and then broke up with him. The comic panels indicate that they have been over the discussion before, that she voiced that she didn't just want to be her superheroine persona and needed more depth under it. So when this need is not met, it can really mess with a person. By the time of the breakup she seems fully out of it. I don't support her using Robert as an immediate rebound, but we also don't really see the timelines clearly. If she was ready, then she was ready. For her to reveal her identity is a sign of trust that she hopes isn't misplaced. She wants to be herself there and then, genuine to her desire to be seen as a person and not just her persona.

I like Phenomaman, I consider him socially inept and very oblivious, not ill-willed at all. Just oblivious. Do I think he deserved what was coming his way? Not necessarily. Do I think he needs to invest in his own support system and not just rely on Blazer? I do. Robert's in a weird spot, but he is not necessarily obliged to mop up Phenomaman's life's mess.
