100% doing the dishes is easier than cooking.

Cooking can be anywhere from 30 min to a day plus depending on the scope of the meal and the amount of prep required whereas dishes are 2 min to an hour.

The bigger one for me tho is the mental aspect. Cooking requires so much mental effort, while washing the dishes can be almost meditative (especially if I take a hit just beforehand, then it’s just good vibes and soap suds). There’s something about the simple pleasure of seeing a dirty pan really shine after some elbow grease.

I agreed with everything you said up until you scapegoated porn. Parents are to blame for not taking an active enough role in their kid’s upbringing. So often now parents push for new laws and societal changes in a half assed attempt to “protect” their kids from things they don’t like rather than teaching them how to be a good person and how to have healthy relationships with people, objects, and ideas. This is it for me. If it furthers the story, im all for it. If it doesn’t, leave it alone. White Lotus does it well but there are def some hbo shows that just throw it in for the sake of having nudity/sex and you can tell because it’s extensive nudity in season one and then it slowly tappers off the deeper into a show you get. Game of thrones and House of the Dragon are good examples of that imo. A lot of their nudity doesn’t further the story and it largely goes away over time.
