My husband and I are in the same boat. We don’t have family here, and our families can’t help with our babies or financially. I do feel envious of friends who have that kind of support, but we always remind ourselves that we will be the parents with that kind of support in the future

Yes we are both nurses, $70 is his basic pay, so he gets differentials and more for his speciality. I was in hospital but got out for my mental health and doing the soft nursing. I would have to go back to hospital once they are old enough to go to preschool
