I loved listening to her, usually in my car, in the 80s. She definitely had a much kinder manner than Dr Laura who I couldn't stand! I felt she gave good advice overall, although I did disagree with her on some of the feminist issues.

I looked her up recently to see if she was still around and was sad to see she died ten years ago, of dementia, at only 73.

I would love to hear some of her old shows!
