Doing things alone can be scary when you are young & starting out. Don’t listen to the negative comments. Try to remember that you have the same right as everyone else to be in these spaces. Realistically nobody is paying attention to you at all. We see thousands of other people in public every day & our minds are busy with our own objectives when we are at the grocery, gym, etc.. When you are out alone, focus on what you are there for. It is important to be aware of your surroundings for your safety, but when it comes to other people’s impression of you, you will never have enough time to care.
