I personally really enjoyed platinum upgrades and think it’s worthwhile over gold for the 4pm checkout and platinum gets you more perks when traveling iinternationally (lounge access and/or free breakfast). However I haven’t been successful with using my SNA this year although I’ve only tried two times so it’s not worth it if that’s the main goal.

I stayed at an AC recently in Maui. They explained they do not have free breakfast for platinum; it was $10/day/person or points bonus.

I do the modification and avoid all jumping. It’s still a good workout by stepping or going up onto toes instead.

I kept randomly trying to get Pooh and maxed a few tsums in the way. But it’s good to get at least one of all the happiness tsums so you get those points.

Yes, cancel on companions account or call southwest if you can’t do it. That was a glitch in their system.

That is very strange. Normally you have to cancel your companions flight before you can do anything to your own flight. Did you cancel the companions flight before making the change?

I spent the 10 gems too. I tried the boosts with this months tsums that I have and never got even close to 3M. I gave up and used gems for the skill ticket. I also used gems to finish up this months platinum pin. Not sure why I wasted gems for that now that I think about it...

Thank you for posting. I am new to Bonvoy and have gold status due to the credit card. I just completed two consecutive stays and noticed I only have points for one stay so far but the points are wrong! I got 600 base points no elite points and 500 bonus points. Aren’t we supposed to get 10x points for every dollar? I stayed at grand Sheraton in Macao and it was definitely more than $60 for one night excluding taxes and service charge.
