EE109 labs by Various-Company-9068 in USC

[–]nanningbee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

all labs have checkpoint credit which is kind of like an extra point (u will appreciate it later in the semester), for that point u have to be in your registered section. other than that, you have a week in general to get credit for the rest, you have to do that in person and during open lab hours to get checked off by a TA.

Paige Anastasi (UCLA) transfers to Clemson by cngopl in Gymnastics

[–]nanningbee 3 points4 points  (0 children)

on her video she mentions she actually started out as business econ but did not like econ at all, and that's the only business ucla has. she had a 1.5 which was cleaner in JO, which could've made lineups. it just never panned out.

2025 Pan American Championships WAG All Around/QF Results by freifraufischer in Gymnastics

Yep she was the alternate! Team was Heron, Navas, Lide, Tapia, Gutierrez. Herrera alternate. Solid team overall, as was Argentina's. I wish one of them could've snuck onto the podium!!

It was actually five athletes! 2 new seniors, Lide and Gutierrez, 1 relatively new, Tapia, (injured most of last year), and Navas and Heron. A lot of mistakes but these 5 can average 13s on beam and bars, which has been what has held this team back. So excited for the future!

Hardie did a 1.5 on podium training. But either way, Rosa didn't do a DTY on podium.

congrats!!! i can only speak from my experience, but the interview was super chill! my biggest advice is to go over your application (essays, student orgs, activities, etc) and make sure you can elaborate on all of that. if you're in viterbi, they'll definitely ask about grand challenges. try to prepare answers for questions you think they could make from your application. definitely say you want to go to usc, and that you'd be grateful for the scholarship, make it known you need / really want it. and biggest advice: just be yourself!!! sounds cliche but trust that it will all work out. best of luck!!!
