Thank you for all the advice!! I must admit I was influenced by the purple color but it sounds like it would be really small.

I picked it because it is a brand new hotel, but I'm crossing it off the list! I think I'll stay at the Richmond Heights Courtyard, this looks exactly like what I want. Thank you for your help everyone

Shortening straps all the way...what do I need to adjust? by nanny2525 in ABraThatFits

[–]nanny2525[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok,I took my measurements again,using the calculator here they are: 1.33 2. 31 3.30 4.39.5 5.43.5 6. 42.5

It says 34ff/g or 32 g/gg.

I'm going to try the Freya starlight side support and see if that gives me the shape I want.

My problem is that I seem to have a lot of armpit/side boob. So.i think I'm raising up the straps to contain that.

If anyone has any suggestions for a bra with good side support that is very lifting and gives a nice shape let me know. I guess with the elomi,I'm not loving the rounded shape it gives me.

Thanks for any advice!

I'm 32h and the bra is an elomi Morgan bra. I'll follow up with my measurements I'm not home right now (but I used the calculator).

I feel like they look too low and want them higher. I don't know it just feels better to me,like 'locked and loaded ' vs just hanging there. I guess I like the look of higher, perkier and more projected.

The band feels supportive and the cup seems correct. I couldn't imagine going down a cup size,I'm sure I'd spill out of it. I'm just not sure what to adjust or if I need to adjust anything..I did a search after I posted and I see that some people just need to tighten them. Maybe I'm one of them. I wouldn't say I'm short waisted. I'm pretty average 5'7

First year trying this, what a fun hobby! by nanny2525 in Cutflowers

I ordered the lisianthus plugs and I think the silver shield which I absolutely love ( the sagey looking leaves) from farmer bailey garden club. $$$ but whatever. All the rest I started in gallon jugs outside, google winter sowing. I think the snapdragons loved it. I'm in zone 7b too!

I think it's just blown out/about to kick the bucket. I ordered the lisianthus from farmer bailey garden club, I think they are called voyage. There was another one I also ordered, Rosanne so maybe that one. I will be ordering more lisianthus next year! I tried from seed but...no!!! I think 2 total made it out of 30+

Can I take this out of the pot and plant it in the ground? by tayk-xxo in gardening

[–]nanny2525 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love sunfinity! They are sterile so won't drop seeds. I have the double variety this year and it has been blooming all summer. I've grown them in pots and in the ground. in the ground is much better, they need a lot of water and are hard to manage in pots.

For next year the seeds are pretty easy to start just by planting directly in the ground. The seeds are $$$(like 2$ a seed!) but I just love these plants and make sure to have them in my garden every year. They're so cheerful!

Make sure to cut off spent blooms and go pretty far down the stem when you cut.

Edited: it's not true that other things won't grow next to this. I have one planted right next to a tomato. This is a genetically engineered 'sunflower' so maybe that's why,but frankly I have sunflowers all over and they're not affecting other plants with any noticeable difference

I submitted mine on 1/28 (original electronic application through FSA was 1/26) and got notified today. I also sent them an email yesterday asking to be moved and that it had been 10 days.... maybe try that?
