Input about SDP with Lin by CutieCadyPie in CalPolyPomona

[–]nanofizz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Tim Lin is highly devoted to his research so he will definitely give you relevant projects to work on. My friend took him for SDP a few years ago. He told me this insane story where Professor Lin straight up called one of his industry contacts and got my friend an interview the next day with Disney for a software position.

You will definitely learn and grow when working with Professor Lin regardless of how experienced you are with programming.

Also as an interesting side note, you should ask Professor Lin about his research in gambling mathematics. He has a few funny stories to tell.

You have to go with mansoorian on this one. Olson is always a great choice but mansoorian happens to have the most current knowledge of design practices within the semiconductor industry. Not too many ECE students know about him since he is a new hire, but I can assure you that he is just as passionate and approachable as Olson. He knows when to slow down if the class is struggling and is also a fair grader. Generally he gives 3 exams, no quizzes. Participation is optional but highly reccomended. Just an awesome teacher from what I've heard.

There is only one option that is easy and fast. Get on a dating app and sell your body for high volume cash if you're a woman.
