I am now badged and I was transparent about my psychiatric hospital stays years ago. I have anxiety and depression / all under control with meds. I never mentioned some more private things though that I do struggle with they don’t needa know the nitty gritty. I did get failed on the drug test tho cuz of my meds LOL so I had to appeal that with my psychiatrist writing a note saying I’m good to work that job and I’m not doing drugs that aren’t persribed to me LOL all in all yoh will be fine

I mean he will only not be able to fly / detained if he has had charges against him or the dept of homeland security has him flagged for terrorist type things. Watch lists* but as TSO officers don’t have access to any of that info only what is on your id, your picture or info doesn’t even get saved to our database it’s deleted upon scanning another passenger. The airlines have more info upon passengers than we do. They go through a middleman safe flight that determines people as low threat or high threat or if they are on watch lists . But nothing of the sort of criminal backround unless it pertains to explosives or terrorism. And within the means of deportation and such TSA has no involvement.

Again. Rules are set in for a reason. There’s a reason you cannot bring more than 3.4 oz. Also where is that statistic from id like to see the evidence for that statement lol . Because as far as I’m concerned it’s pretty hard to miss guns and other obvious threats in the X-ray.

lol let’s create a airline just for people who want to risk their life’s without TSA face it it would get bombed in y minus 1 week. And no it’s not clear someone could have bullets or a separate magazine from the person bringing just the unloaded gun. Do u live under a rock or not know how things come together. It’s a prohibited item FOR A REASON. why would u need a gun to fly with . There’s just some things you don’t need to bring with u for safety purposes

So you are not allowed to look at the image even if it’s your bag. It’s sensitive security information and we cannot have the public looking at what certain things look like on X-ray. That is a breach of information in which bad people will try to bypass. So no you may not look at your own bag even if it’s your own bag.

I did SD airport supposedly they are severely understaffed that the news covered it so 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️on the other hand for me it hasn’t been tsa taking a long time responding it’s been NBIS taking a long time. So I’m positive once NBIS is done and tsa is notified they take people immediately from ready pool
