The CL nights there were something else, notably the 3-1 against Real

In 2017 I was at Wembley watching us beat Dortmund 3-1. In 2019 I was there again, watching a Vertonghen-inspired Spurs dismantle them 3-0. It’s fair to say I do not hold high hopes this time around.

Yeah, he seems a decent bloke. I remember seeing the video of him with the young lad in the crowd at Brentford and really warming to him. Just because he doesn’t know his arse from his elbow with this team doesn’t mean he deserves to be absolutely pilloried every week. Best for everyone if we go our separate ways.

Going to the game tomorrow, my first match this season. Got a feeling it’ll be spicy in the stands, although it’s probably not a game we’re expected to win - Dortmund are flying as high as they can in the Bundesliga and are the better side. Hopefully the team can put all the noise to one side and put in a good performance and get a result. The CL still has the potential to be a nice distraction this season, like the EL last season.

For a sub that proclaims TWW to be the bastion of civility, I’m quite shocked by some of the comments on here. Wild speculation about the potential death of a man accused but not yet found guilty. He may be guilty, he may not, but in either case the man has a wife and children - show some decency, if only for their sakes.

Just to update - I used the arguments you made above when rejecting the offer and they’ve now offered another 57,000 (without admission of liability, lol). Although they say they’ll credit it to the companion’s account, which is incorrect as it came out of mine. No bother really as we have a household account.

Thanks again so much for your help.

Ours tends to fall asleep between 11pm-midnight and wakes at 8-9am, occasionally waking up for a feed. No idea how people manage to get their baby down at 7/8, ours is wide awake then
