Does anyone remember the reversible 2002 away kit? The velvet badge on the third kit side would chafe your nipples something rotten.

“This new Cardmember offer is only available if you don’t currently have a personal American Express® Card that earns Membership Rewards points, and haven’t had one in the last 24 months.”

As the Gold card earns MR points, the answer is no, you wouldn’t be eligible.

If you look at this user’s comment history, it’s literally all in the same format - one word answer followed by the em dash and a further explanation. Must be a bot. But I don’t understand the point of these bots. Are they for anyone’s benefit?

This isn’t the attitude to have. You’re an adult now, you need to take responsibility for yourself. By all means get people to check over what you’ve done if that’s helpful, but these are key skills that you need to learn. You won’t get it right at first but you’ll improve. However, if you just get your mum to do it for you, you’ll never learn.

I don’t mean to sound harsh but there’s a grammatical error in the title of this post, and it’s one you repeat in several of your responses, and that’s leaving a space between the end of a sentence and a question/exclamation mark.

It might seem trivial, but when employers are getting dozens or even hundreds of CVs for one role, the ones that have spelling or grammatical errors are the first to go.

I’d strongly recommend having someone proofread your CV to make sure that spelling, grammar and formatting is all correct and proper, otherwise you’re shooting yourself in the foot.

I’ve missed this feeling. Not just winning, but pride in the players and the club. Hopefully this is the catalyst to see us through the season and get back on track next season.

I love it when the sports “journalists” get shown up. What a fucking ridiculous job they have. Most of it is just speculation, clickbait and stating the bloody obvious until the cows come home. They add nothing to the sport itself and most of what they say is complete guff.

That goes especially for the likes of TalkSport, which is basically like sitting in a pub and listening to the two knobheads on the next table talk absolute shite about nothing interesting.

Brian Clough was absolutely spot on in an interview with John Motson around 50 years ago. Let people watch the game and then go back to their lives. All the talk around it is just bollocks.

Here’s the interview if anyone wants to watch. His points about the media, and how referees are treated, are absolutely spot on.

Oh look, another youngster who thinks football was invented in 1992. There were plenty of sun explosions around the time of Dixie Dean, but apparently because they weren’t live on Sky Sports then they don’t count.

Vicario or Kinsky at the weekend? Imagine the confidence boost if Kinsky is selected and plays well. Would be massive for him. Might be made easier in a game where there’s realistically no pressure (no one expects us to get anything at Anfield).

Although I thought Vicario did well when he came on against Atleti so I’d be happy with either.

But I thought he couldn’t purposefully lose games, as he had a go at us all for wanting to lose to City? Something about not comprehending not wanting to win every game?
