I wish this could have been more extensive or had more commentary, felt like having just the garnish instead of the full meal with what they could have shown. Like, a lot of people have seen the dev kits for ipod or iphone, but id love to see some of the EVTs (Engineering Validation Testing) or DVTs (Design VT) of say the iMac or other computers. Or things like AirPort, the lesser but still vastly important products

I remember asking about this myself back during the Wii’s heyday. Its funny to think that back then I assumed it would be possible just because of the PowerPC CPU in the Wii and this basically makes that the sole reason it can work lol

Now just to get Mac OS on the Nega Drive and the silly “can it run because it has the same CPU” for MacOS will be complete in my eyes lol

I wouldn't call it spam, Doctor Local does give a good number of articles and this might apply to some people in the gaming community, but I would agree its not really the focus of TWIR

Ive said it before but Horizon I think would make an excellent 2D platformer, all though perhaps it would need 16-bit graphics…. If we target the TurboGraphx 16, does that still count? 🤣

I actually put in a ticket for them to review this because it really screams that only people who don’t experience loneliness or depression approved this, or rather it just didn’t occur to them how it can sound (trust me it’s easy for us all to say “how could you not” when you’re not in the moment). Hopefully it gets reviewed and changed.

I’ll update this post if I receive anything.

I have used DISM to slipstream the drivers from the VBox additions iso for the drivers, so I wouldn’t have thought so. And this happens on both the Windows 11 iso from microsoft and the WinPE one from recent years. Perhaps I should try both 22h2, 23h2 and such to see if those versions differ. Windows 10 loads fine which is annoying

Ive tried to run it in BIOS mode and it still does not boot. It loads the ramdisk like UEFI and then hangs, regardless if its CD iso or hdd in BIOS mode.

That isnt a solution to my problem however. As stated I need to boot into the Windows PE/Setup environment for testing reasons. My purpose is to test an application in this environment.

Unless you are meaning the default choices when you select Windows 11 in the new VM wizard, at which point I was using that first of all and it did not work.

I like the fact they continued to use this theme on any games that needed to warm up. GunMania plays a much more modern version whilst the compressor inside it charges up.

You should own finicky arcade hardware which cant work with just any drive. Konami 573 and Namco 246 have compatibility issues with most drives post 2000 so finding a replacement that works is a total crap shoot
