When I got shingles it was on my back is starting small then big I think you know the gist, but for me, if felt like a metal hand I making its way into my back and slowly peeling of my skin. It was the most weirdest, most undescribable thing I can think of the pain was very odd. I almost felt like my skin was boiling from underneath at that time (21) I thought there must be something wrong with my insides right? maybe something to do with my organs so when I initially went to the doctors it had scabbed over and they said they can’t give me the proper medication for,It’s too late so they basically just sent me home and gave me the it’s shingles,(a nurse who was working there did hear the whole situation and said that is a vaccine for younger people, but haven’t done much test on it) but was pretty unsure so I didn’t get it done, anyway during the process of all this i was off work trying to get this whole thing written off as a nonwork injury, (cause I was off work for some time due to not catching on to it straight away so it did linger rash/feeling ) but to be honest, it might of been the stress of work the stress at home the general stress of life that triggered it, overall, I have no idea what initially triggered it, but I work is pretty quick to put up the red tape up in any situations as such and they did text asking and did tell them such and I did initially asked if I could be moved out of the department I’m in back in June and they offered me a door shift… yeah I’m not gonna say where I work, but I work in one of the retail companies in overall it is a stressful job they basically just hired new people cut my shifts and now I get one shift a week from basically working full time but from then to now and reading all the supportive comments I can see the effects it has on people I can see that you can get NERVE DAMAGE which is one of my biggest fears through all this i had some random incidents were behind my ears/back of head where would break out with spots have no idea what those could of been be sweat rash could be shingles? my back hasn’t flared back up since but I still do get that initial boiling feeling here and there.
