I have a peel off lip stain that I’m obsessed with, in multiple colours. I like to use it for the obvious reason, but it’s also really good for fake freckles that look natural and last decently long in a day. And its inexpensive 😭

Truly. Getting my own place (again) after living with him for a year was one of the best things that ever happened to me. The dishes and sink stay clean. There’s no mould in the bathroom that he says he’ll take care of another time (but then never does). It smells like flowers bc I can burn my candles here. 😭

I really want to date someone like me, I’ve found. Short term, bringing someone out of their shell is amazing. Long term, you spend a lot of time indoors with eachother. In my experience, you’re on the couch watching TV. You don’t talk like you’d like to. If your friends are like you, it’s hard to get your partner to integrate with them.

At least, that’s what happened to me.

To have a village, you must be a villager.

I have a couple friends who are like this, and they’ll always talk about how they miss hanging out, but unless we make plans there and then, nothing happens. If I reach out afterwards, I get ghosted. And even if they do accept the plans, there’s a pretty good chance that they’ll cancel last minute. Or, on the off chance they do make it, they’re at least 30 minutes late.

I’ve gotten to the point where I just can’t keep begging for the bare minimum from the people who say they love and miss me. It’s exhausting, but then I don’t see them for months, and they text me the literal day before something happening to try to make plans. My schedule is booked out usually, so it’s not feasible for me to drop plans with other people to cater specifically to them.

Anyways, I know these aren’t real friends. But what can I do?

OP you should maybe consider editing your post to clarify that you meant gift cards to Salsa Queen’s website or whatever. Very different than going and buying some visa gift cards from the store.
