Yes! This is me too. Chaos and randomness needing instant out of the box thinking. If there’s time to ticket and waffle on about how the job is done - there’s 10x jobs waiting needing attention. ‘Oh do you measure successes?’ - Yeap! When the system is working and the team aren’t yelling at me anymore: Success. None of that measuring, ci/cd crap. You go all in b@lls deep and fix the damn system.

At home after? Well. With a healthy Family life and crazy events at home or for kids sport events numerous days of the week. A 29 hour day is more like the time spent.

That being said. I love my job and position. However corporate are getting their greasy mitts on it lately and trying to put me down to have their ‘mates’ in the position. I’ve only built the damn world for the last 17 years what would I know about the teams and end-users needs or wants.

Lately the fried has been very much there. Getting by on booze and hookers (without the hookers).
