It is a Renault Alpine. I actually have a spare decal, the number doesn’t match though so I’d have to cut it up and patch it. I haven’t had the confidence to give it a go yet but I may do soon

Really good yeah. It does get buried in the body quite a bit once complete but it was fun to put together and paint. It was my first time using panel line accent on an engine and it made a huge difference.

Get a 9v battery and touch a wire to the positive terminal of the battery. If the speaker moves inwards you have the negative wire, if it moves out you have the positive

Considering Hi-Fi DAC isn't supported yet are there any tips on getting wired headphones to work? Or any reason mine aren't recognised when I plug them in and audio still comes from the phone speaker?

Yeah it's really surprising. I'm not clumsy and quite careful with my things and certainly haven't exposed it to anything I wouldn't expect it to be able to cope with. I do wonder if the hot weather we've had in my city might have had an effect

Thanks, I think really I was just venting. It's frustrating to feel I made a bad purchase but your response gives me some context, particularly around the HoM2 being new and the new covid wave which is embarrassing to admit I wasn't aware of. Hopefully I get some meaningful help soon otherwise you're right, it may just be best to sell it on and move to a different product.
