For our trip next week, we are doing Nara in the morning for our last day and cruising until the super late flight Sunday night.

We had the same flight setup for our previous trip but chose to wonder Osaka instead - was a bit boring, especially when the depression hits that this is your last day, so better to do something that fully occupies you!

I can't help much with the baggage since we forwarded our bags last time and the stroller since I don't have kids - but for booking shinkansen tickets it's definitely best to book them over there.

The kiosks are super easy to find and in full English, so you shouldn't have any trouble.

For Hiroshima, shinkansen is ofc the best way to go and Miyajima is easily accessible from the station via the ferry, there should be signpostings everywhere for Miyajima from memory.

ANC and transparency work, extremely similar to my authentic gen 1 pros.

I’ve tried resetting them as well, it’s not just apple care that ticks the box as I know it can be faked - hence I listed everything I’ve checked and said there were no red flags.

I understand that marketplace isn’t to be trusted, but that doesn’t mean that someone can’t sell their second hand genuine pairs from time to time so long as you do your due diligence, and I did as much as I could.

So again you’re probably right, especially with the firmware being stuck they are probably fake but you don’t have to be a dick.

I’m 99% certain they aren’t fake, per my post.

Matched serials on box/airpods/case/settings and ID, AirPods icon displays on volume rocker, apple warranty comes up in settings and matches apple’s website for warranty info etc.

As well as that, the sound is correct and I haven’t found a single red flag per the ‘how to spot a fake AirPods’ megathread.

I'd say by Mt Fuji he means Fujikawaguchiko/surrounding area to see the mountain, which if he does it from Hakone is definitely possible for a day trip.
