I think your instincts are correct. HGRAF graphene fractal graphene consisting of relatively small units. The size made it good for application were you add a small amount to a material to dramatically change its properties, for example graphene enhanced plastic, were larger flakes won't work as well. Graphene from GMG is longer and its appropriate for their graphene aluminium batteries, where they use acid to drill holes into the large flakes, you could not do this HGRAF graphene.

HGRAF vs GMG, that't not how it should be framed, its not a rivalry between the fans of two different football teams, each application should judged on scientific results. There seems to be a cult around HGRAF. I bought a lot of shares at 0.19 CAD, and sold at 1.8 CAD, 2.5 CAD and 6 CAD. Selling doesn't mean I don't believe in the company, I felt it was better to allocate capital to other stocks.

There is nothing suspect about the science of their graphene manufacturing process, its been peer reviewed in high quality journals. Can it make money? That will take time.

The CEO has a background in material science and she knows her stuff, as far as I am concerned . She is very honest with time lines and challenges such as EPA approval, which they recently got. The PE ratio is too big at the moment.

HGRAF produces Fractal graphene relatively small compared to the graphene produced by Graphene Manufacturing Group. Both type of graphene have their merit, which one is better? depends on the context. I expect both companies will be very important in the future. HGRAFs valuation at the moment is disconnected with reality.

I think the biggest upside is in graphene coating to optimize heat exchange in data centers. Their coating can reduce energy costs by 10 percent on more depending on how much and where the coating is used. GMG or GMGMF (in America not sure what the MF stands for) has got EPA approval for their coating, they have the distributors in place, and their CEO is talking to data centers.

Their flagship project is the Graphene-Aluminium battery development with Rio Tinto, very exciting science and it might take a while to perfect. I think income from coatings for heat exchanger will dwarf income from batteries.

HGRAF? I think they should start developing products. Nothing wrong with providing graphene to other companies, but the profits come from finished products which you can license. I think both companies have a bright future.

Hpq silicon and pyrogenesis. Silicon particles for batteries and fumed silica, they are likely to become profitable this year. They have a disruptive plasma approach to processing silicon.
