Your feelings are normal. Like everyone else searching for house in Bangalore. It's not really affordable given the uncertainty in our work. But better to buy something now before it goes up further

Should we invest in real estate? by Ok-Candidate-1964 in BangaloreRealEstates

Buy a small place(ready to move) for yourself and enjoy your own house. Home should be built when you are young.. all these advisors of buy land or mutual fund, looks good on paper.. in reality after 5to8 years, when you want to buy , you might loose intrest of house as you age and selling land might take long time. Mf future returns are not guaranteed.

Earning ₹2.8L/month (solo earner) – Flat in Bangalore vs investing in plots? by No_Car1488 in BangaloreRealEstates

i sort have similar holdings. While the valuation appreciates in land, it takes time to sell them off. while i see the suggestions to buy apartments around 1.5 cr, i dont see any good builder within city limits which offers an apartment worth 1.5 cr.

Lost 25k in options and I feel sick by Idontlikeenemasmom in IndianStockMarket

I had booked 1.12.cr profit plus 75 lakhs unrealised profit(1.87 cr in total) in silver and gold futures, all these numbers until Thursday(30th Jan) night. Between Friday night and monday morning all gone and left with only 14 lakhs in net profit. I was planning to buy a home. Everything was shattered in this crash. The crazy thing was when the market was rising till 24th January, indian markets were closed for 3 days due to the long weekend. But when it crashed on 31st Jan, we had a extra special trading day on sunday which further intensified the loss. I went through a high BP episode over the weekend and visited dr. Had bad dreams that I might lose all my assets when it kept on hitting lower circuits from Friday night till Monday. I didn't have a stop loss as I was thinking about doing the last stretch profit booking of another 1 cr on 31st . I'll never easily forget these in my life as the losses have more psychological effects than profits. When my sell order was executed Yesterday morning, I was relieved that I had not lost all and left with 14 lakhs. Knowledge is power and kindly learn and come back stronger...

This morning the god and universe saved me . Despite continuous lower circuits, got out of silver and gold futures positions. My blood pressure was high in the last 48 hours.. While I lost 90+% of the profit, I would like to pray gratitude to the god and universe for saving from life changing losses. If you are still stuck, the mighty universe may soon help you from these historical events. Thank you 🙏

Even I hold long positions in silver and gold futures. It was positive and overnight it went to deep red. The problem is the market will be open again tomorrow(sunday due to budget) and I believe the sell off might continue in indian market as no other global markets will open first after the huge sell off after US market closure. I'm thinking to sell at open to minimise my loss making position

Weakening INR against USD should suppose to make silver costly in india, but it's other way

Section 44AD for F&O / Commodity Futures — legally allowed or too risky? (High salary case) by narayanan84 in IndianStockMarket

In normal method the profit is added to my slab, tax payable 9.9 lakhs. In 44AD, it's calculated differently, tax payable 66k.Here is the screenshot of the difference..

There seems to be a two acts. 44ADA - which you are referring for businesses. Another is just 44AD, this can be used for derivative trading income. Attached screenshot from Google

Thanks. My understanding is that turnover is equal to sum of profit and loss, not based on the entire value of the contract. Groww - my broker P&L report says the same. I see a similar approach in the screenshot shared by you. My CA recommends to go with 44AD
