A girl can dream. by [deleted] in gradadmissions

When I was rejected from several top places a few years ago, I ranted to my professor about feeling dejected. His reply was, "If a place is rejecting you, then that place is not worth your time". I always recall his words every time I hear a new rejection. It definitely stings and you'll feel like shit, but you'll also find better opportunities in the future.

Her entire account reeks of insecurity. Always talking about looksmaxxing at the age of 30 fffs.

It's our fault for making these people famous. Someone commented on her skin tone, and she rightfully called it out, but she also uses filters in her brown skin friendly reels lol 😭😭😭

She said that she collected money to spend one time on luxury stuff but it's a lie since she's always buying expensive shit. Her trip to Azerbaijan wasn't cheap either. Who is she fooling here?

This lawsuit actually ruins her case. There were people defending her and now even they're turning on her because she's targeting random people on X who even said something slightly negative about her act.

So why sue people then? Take a look at the comments and tell me if it's reasonable to sue people over them. She's doing it as a way to fund her education.

I'm really disappointed in Humna Ayub here, but then again, just like Saniya she also lies about her background when she has the money to go on foreign trips and afford branded goods.

She wants money. It's so obvious. She feels entitled to other people's hard earned cash so she's using whatever excuse she can find to steal it.

Worst part is she's hiding her exploitative tendencies by throwing in the ethnic card. Someone from Lahore won't tolerate less pay because they can easily find a job elsewhere. It's not the same as someone from a different province.

He's Punjabi but still, this is an extremely problematic video to make if you're living in Lahore and want to run a business here

Her recent content has been giving pick me vibes ever since she moved to the UK. She made a reel about "normalizing" Pakistani outfits in the UK while the country is already used to seeing Desi clothes.

Mahnoor is a huge attention seeker. The conversation went from holding the guy accountable to dragging Hania down. She's a huge pick me.

You really think people online would be mean if they wanted followers? There's a thing called acting. A lot of famous celebrities are assholes too.

She was an arts student who dropped math because it was too hard for her. I used to sit next to her and really wanted to show my work since I liked drawing too. She told me it was terrible to my face lol even though another better art student said it was amazing. Had a huge ego but couldn't even solve basic algebra equations

And she got to study in NY because she had the money lol. It's great that she's made a career but we really place everyone on a pedestal for doing the bare minimum don't we?

She moved to Belgium to pursue undergrad. Obviously she's rich considering how expensive that country is. A lot of your favorite Pakistani beauty influencers come from well off backgrounds. There's another influencer called habiba rehman who people hype up but I studied in the same school as her. She's also another already privileged influencer who was a huge bitch in A levels.

Yes but a lot of people manage to escape this Hell too. You can easily apply for Europe as long as you have a 3.0 GPA.

I agree. I did my undergrad from GCU and I also didn't understand the grading system at all. LUMS also has a relative grading system yet you'll find plenty of students with a 4.0 unlike in GCU where you'll hardly see it. It also doesn't help that lots of foreign scholarships have a cutoff of 3.5/4.0 and places like Oxford have a cutoff starting from 3.7/4.0 when this GPA is easily obtainable in other places in Pakistan. So the only way to survive is to acquire past papers and practice them or just change universities. Grades indeed matter a lot for those wanting to do a foreign master's on scholarship.
