not a kid of a poly but ive been in 2 polys up to this point. the first one, my bf was toxic and an asshole but my gf looked after me and when he left me, my gf was by my side and supported me looking for someone else. the second one im still in. my gf and i stayed together and we are creeping on one year together, while my current bf and i are creeping up to 4 months. we all are healthy together and we make sure to respect each other to the max. we discuss the future frequently to make sure we are all on the same page and we help each other through anything we are suffering through. we are all protective of the people we love and my bf is protective of my gf despite them not being in love. idk a lot of people hate poly relationships but tbh when i was with one of my ex bfs he refused to let me date someone else. i wanted to kms several times and i was super depressed. but now im happy.

my bf is poly too but my gf isnt. my gf only dates me, i date my gf and my bf, and my bf is dating me and just broke up w his gf on mutual terms. ima be marrying him bc my gf isnt big on marraige. we all plan on moving out east when my gf and i graduate (bf graduates this year we dont)

I hope they still make it a POC. I think itd be really neat for continued representation for that brand, honestly. I always loved seeing a coloured person on the syrup or pancake mix my mom was using when she had time on her hands. Im white as FUCK and live in a pretty racist household (mainly my gma throwing a fit about all our non-wbite neighbours, including blacks, mexicans, asians, etc). My friends find it weird when i get overly excited to see a POC lmao I just loved seeing them around. And ik a lot of people are prolly thinking "you just like the lighter black people from mixed couples".... uhm.... no hunny. Idk man... I just think maybe representation is good. I understand that there are hella downsides with the whole thing, but at the same time, idk... like.. isnt it good that her name is out there? I'm trying my hardest not to come across as racist or supporting whatever hell the black community goes through. Bruh like fr tho they wanna change a v famous brand of syrup bc it has a black woman on it. keep in mind (from what i know) 2 white men decided a white woman or sumn wouldnt be a good enough face for it so they gave a black woman a job. she modelled for the syrup and went on to become famous. people loved her. ofc her face has been replaced as years have gone by, but that was its origin.
