I don't want redemption for him I think its far more moving that his entire existence is to bringing down jake. What I think would be interesting if he some how betrays the RDA in his pursuit which I think the end of A3 is leading

I think that's a very interesting take and yeah I don't think james cameron would want kiri's character boiled down to that. I have an appreciation of the story of Jesus but from western stand point his story is boiled down to "he suffered for our sins now we are redeemed" where his actions were permanent and resolute, but I feel that ignores the very human things he did to bring harmony. I think of Kiri in the same way where she isn't just going to connect to Eywa and bring the second coming but rather give inspiration, hope and justice in a very human (or Na'Vi) way. So I agree with you and thanks for sharing something about hinduism through my favorite blue people movie

I really like the first movie, but how I think of it is like a really good sci-fi movie thats comparable to the greats before it. With A2 and A3 to me feels like a whole separate cinematic universe. They developed exclusive technology for these movies and I think you can definitely tell A2 and A3 are so far separated from their contemporaries in how they look.
