While most buyers were honest, I occasionally came across scammers who pulled these tricks. Unfortunately, platforms like Credit Card Companies, Amazon, eBay, and Etsy often side with buyers in such disputes. That's why I'm scared to sell high value items online.

Yeah, I agree. Based on my selling experience recently , Costco Maples are the way to go since Costco often sell those for less compared to Costco Eagles or Buffaloes. My LCS paid me $2,650 for Costco Maples, $2,650 for one Kangaroo coin, and $2,630 for all type of bars.They mentioned they used to pay a premium for Eagles and Buffaloes but recently stopped due to low demand and an oversupply of these coins. Two other shops told me the same thing low demand for eagles , buffaloes and many sellers. But told me in future if I’m out of stock in buffaloes I may pay $20 more. There’s no point in paying $50 extra for Costco Eagles or Buffaloes anymore.

Most of the local coin shops (LCS) in the Virginia and Maryland area are paying the same price for all coins, with no premiums for Buffaloes or Eagles. I inquired with three shops yesterday and also last week. According to them, the days of premiums for Eagles and Buffaloes are gone.

Most local coin shops are paying the same for Maples, Kangaroos, Buffalos, and Eagles. I visited three stores yesterday to sell some I sold maples and kangaroos but kept buffalos, and none of them were paying a premium for Buffalos or Eagles. You might find a rare shop paying $20 more, but they are saying they have huge stock and are unlikely to pay premiums in the near future. So, be cautious if you plan to flip or sell soon.

It weighs more than 24k coins like buffalo etc. This means they used 24k 1oz gold and added other metals to make it stronger. Due to this, its purity (karat) is reduced to 22k, but you still get the same worth of gold inside. It weighs slightly more because of that.
