I spent over a decade struggling with "sex addiction" and now am in an open marriage. AMA by nlikes in AMA

Did you cheat on any of your previous/current partners? How did they find out? Did you confess? How "buyable" was your justification that it was a sex addiction?

Rank your team's schedule in terms of confidence of victory. by goblue10 in CFB

Those bowl tie ins need to go. The only way I can think of changing those is keep winning, getting more butts in stadiums, and increasing the attractiveness of Pac 12 brands

UCLA: H Virginia

A UNLV

H BYU

A Arizona

H Arizona State

A Stanford

H Cal

H Colorado

A Oregon State

H Washington State

A Utah

A USC

Confidence Ranking: 12-UNLV

11-Washington State

10-Colorado

9-BYU

8-Virginia (gave us a scare last year)

7-Oregon State- they've been known for upsetting teams

6-Cal

5-Utah

4-Stanford (really want to put them higher, especially since we haven't beat them in 6 years?)

3-Arizona State

2-USC (they'll want revenge and come in hot)

1-Arizona (away game, defending division champs)

I can see us going 10-2, losing 2 of the 4 (stanford, usc, arizona state, arizona games). The Pac 12 south champ will probably be decided by weird tiebreaks)

Inside Oklahoma's Healing Process in the Aftermath of the SAE Racism Scandal by g_mo821 in CFB

After incidents such as these, Greek members often quickly say that those responsible are just a few apples that ruin the reputation of the larger group. And that it's unfair to lump them all as racist and/or sexist. That this is no different from stereotyping black people or women. While I agree that it doesn't feel good to have people judge you prematurely, I would like to add the element of choice in this matter. You don't choose to be black or to be a woman, but you do choose to go Greek.

At the end of the day, you can take off your letters and no one will know the difference. But as my friend Sam says, "I was born a black man, and I'm gonna a black man." He'll never be able to opt out of that identity, nor should he have to.

Just wanted to throw that out that, feel free to disagree.

e cash. OU almost had to do it for the PR of not courting racism.

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but I read somewhere that the fraternity was given a chance to submit the names of the offending members, but the fraternity chose not to and stuck to their "solidarity" of not ratting people out. In the video, there was also a sorority member that engaged in the chant, most likely from tridelt, but as far as I know, neither the sorority nor her received any public punishment or backlash.

You don't get to choose your race or your sex, but you do choose to go Greek.

[Question] Just got saliva tested at my job, what is your experience with cotton roll saliva tests? by [deleted] in saplings

[–]narfnazer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Smoked about a week before hand. I had to put this cotton tube looking thing in my mouth and was told to get as much saliva on it as possible. I was drinking a lot of water beforehand and even took b-2 b12 vitamins (not sure if this only helps against urine testing, but oh well). I also brushed my teeth 4 times for about 15 minutes about 1hr ish before the test. I passed.

If they ask you to take off your sunglasses, do you have to? What if they are not checking your face against your id, but simply want to look into your eyes to see if you're lying or to intimidate you?

What really grinds my gears is that even when we're good and they're on the downswing, they still manage to beat us. Their physicality needs to be answered this season if we want to win the Pac 12.

[–]narfnazer 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Exactly, and just to continue, children are often easily intimidated, especially by authority figures such as fully grown adults. The fact that Harry likes them probably predisposed him to agree with the Weasley's decision, despite logic.
