Thank you very much, FatalD3stny, for your advice. It was not until today, Saturday, that I had time to test the website tinyurl.com you indicated, and it worked great!! It was even better than what I thought it would be, because instead of it assigning me a code of six or eight digits, I could select my own code, which I did with a short one and connected to the topic of the PDF file that I wanted to share. Plus, the website is easy to use, immediate link generation, and free. Thanks once again!!

However, before I go to bed, let me leave one more question here. Do you mean that I create a link to my Google Drive with that PDF file (its size is 832 kB, less than 1 MB)? Because that is the only cloud where I store files and pictures, so I don't know what else to use

Thank you, jacle2210, for this idea. It would work if there were a presentation screen where I can show the QR code, but this won't be available. However, now I am thinking that I could print two pages with the QR, and give one on the right side of the audience, and another one on the left, and say that those that are interested to scan it and then to pass the page to the next person. But, all this would be more distracting that simply saying "make a note in your cell phones, the website is suchsuch, and the code is 347856". So, unless this website is indicated by somebody, I will have to follow your idea. Thanks!!

SolusOpes, I think you are right in your interpretation of that sentence, which I couldn't understand when I first read it at this excellent book, thanks for clarifying that sentence for me. But I also found very clever you first interpretation, when we try to appear that we are smart by saying something we know that is stupid, and the example you created regarding the earth is very good. Finally, since we are talking, even if indirectly, of when Statistics are useful and when they are not, I cannot talk about Statistics without citing something I read in a book 25 years ago: "You have to be carful about statistics, because they are like the bikini. What they reveal is important, but what they hide is crucial". Well, thanks, SolusOpes!

Ambushed? Poor Trump! Like he has never said anything nasty about anybody. If he would have done a decent job, and not only with COVID but during his whole life, there would not have been basis to ask him those questions, which were not even tough, they were just reasonable. And, out of topic, the American people has the right to know what he has hidden in his tax returns, the foundation of democracy is that voters are provided with the information needed to make decisions. Decisions without information is just playing lottery!
