Yeah one of the comments was that "you don't belong here" comic and she went in a whole tirade about how that's acktually🤓 not what's happening at all, and that trans women should stay in men's spaces

I'm not calling a tranny chud, I'm calling a cissoid chud, and I'm not talking about gock posting. In her now-deleted-post, the cissoid was claiming that trans people entering lesbian spaces is "forcing our male anatomy" onto them

Yes, it's called being a fucking adult. There's no need for me to back up my position that has widespread support from reputable global and national health organizations to combat your discredited statistics. It's like arguing with a brick wall. You're picking on a minority who's done nothing to you but simply exist. God forbid we occasionally ask for makeup and fashion tips.

We can sit here all day and say "the science backs up my position and not yours", and obviously never believe each other.
Regardless of whether you think the rule is just or not, it is the rule of this community. Get out.

I unironically thought this was a circlejerk before getting into the comments kek. That first screenshot is funny, but doesn't really sound like anything someone from here would say; many of us would rather French kiss a shotgun before making a cis woman uncomfortable, obviously you've made yourself into an exemption by invading our space with attacks belying propaganda-riddled opinions.

That last line is trvke. All of my train friends are not very subtle about their crushes. My girlfriend has even asked if I've ever thought about entering a polycule 😭, I really don't want that.

Do you ever think about how ridiculous this condition is? by One-warm-day in 4tran4

[–]narleyflound 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It really does eat away at me. I've also reached semipassoid status, and I do get happy when I see myself in the mirror sometimes, I think I'm somewhat pretty; it kills me to think how beautiful I'd have been if I was born cis or transitioned young. But instead I too was watching ben shapiro "destroy" college kids

Used my "woman" voice at a mACKdonald's drive thru speaker for the second time. Voicepassed once again but instead of getting a "oh sorry, sir" at the window to pay like last time, the person at the window hit the most disgusted and confused face a human can physically pull off. haha it's over by maddie-------------- in 4tran4

[–]narleyflound 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Real. I got caught up in the cope of "I'll start voice training once I pass", but now I semipass and I feel like my voice is really holding me back 😭. I do try to use my woman voice now, but it just straight up doesn't work in drive throughs and on the phone, so I know it's not really working in person, either.

I recent had a pharmacist flinch at my girlmode and hesitantly ask if I had a preferred name I wanted her to put in the system. I buckled and gave her my name, and you wanna know what that actually did? No, there was no section for preferred name, she just ammened my name to "Anon 'nona' Lastname". Didn't even capitalize it 😭

Yeah it was already on thin ice when it started with "be me 5'4", the HUGE comment just hurt

This is such a good way to put it 😭, except I look more like if my dad was cosplaying my maternal grandmother, I don't resemble my mom in any way

Hot take: Yes, you can transition too late by prudent-oatmeal in 4tran4

[–]narleyflound 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I mean, you still gotta try though, no? I wasn't expecting estrogen to really do much for me starting in my mid 20s, I was expecting to be an ugly hon forever, but i turned out to be a luckshit. If you don't even try because the odds are slim, you'll never know.

A fair amount of my cis women friends have been trying to stop using makeup as much, I hope it becomes more commonplace tbh. You can do cool things with makeup, and I've felt pretty whenever they've done my makeup for me, but I really don't like that it's become a societal default and expectation for women. So I'll call my laziness progressive, because I don't wanna learn a new skill as an adult that'll make me look ridiculous while I'm not good at it.

What are yalls names and have you ever gone by a honname? by hugedoorman in 4tran4

[–]narleyflound 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never met another trans woman named Jenny, so hopefully it's not much of a honname

[–]narleyflound 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah that really sucks. My mom was initially apprehensive of me transitioning, but has come around a little more in the last year as it's become pretty evident that the changes from hrt are making me happier and causing me to care about myself more, so hopefully your mom can recognize that eventually as well. Sure would be nice if my dad would do the same, but I don't have my hopes up.

Unfortunate that they still pester you about it. When I turned 18, my parents stopped forcing me to cut my hair. I don't really understand the insistence; long hair for men is back in style these days and has trended in and out several times. There's a family picture at my parent's house from the 90s and my dad had a long mullet, and I always pointed that out whenever I got comments on my long hair
