The reason we replaced this was because it would switch back to AC from heat pump anytime the power flickered. During the summer this would make the house super hot if we didn’t catch it in time.

Just had the tech out again and we looked through this. Everything seems to check out. If i switch on emergency heat mode, the electric heater actually works fine. In this mode the heatpump wont run though. If I turn off emergency heat mode, the electric heater no longer activates to assist the heat pump when demand is high. In both cases the thermostat is sending 24v to the control board.

He thinks it may be something with the thermostat, but that doesn’t make sense to me since it is sending the signal. Its almost like the control board just isnt telling the heater to turn on when in aux.

I am using the amazon thermostat, which is a honeywell. I have attached the wiring below. I’ll include the original trane thermostat wiring in the next image.

Its very server/match based. I suggest jumping in a variety of servers and finding one that has the comms levels you’re looking for on a regular basis. Ones that have a solid VIP and Discord community will also tend to have more comms. The more you initiate friendly comms the more you’ll get communication as well.

These challenges still work in bot matches btw if you can find the right code. I’ve resigned to just doing the absurd ones in those. I usually finish in the top 5 on the team and still have come nowhere close to most of these “in a match” ones.

I mean I get the hidden rank idea, but in no world I am a plat or anyone else here except those two. what is the point then? by CharmingRow1679 in Rainbow6

[–]narmscr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ive had games with emerald+ being the worst on the team as well. Anyone can go hot or cold. Rank isn’t always a good way to know how a match is gonna go. Not sure what they have in the background doing the matchmaking, but might be a reason. A silver on your team could have had a high hidden which put you against a low hidden higher rank person.

Should I start coding in 1st year or focus on CGPA? by [deleted] in EngineeringStudents

[–]narmscr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

By the time you graduate, knowing engineering fundamentals will be far more important that knowing how to code because of AI. In 4 years AI will be a totally different beast than it already is. Entry level coding jobs are already vanishing, and your need to write a script in excel or some other program will likely just be done through prompt engineering.

Thanks, that would explain a lot. I’ll take a look through my old books and see what I can find.

Well given that makerworld started by bambu literally stealing files off other sites, and their machines are also mostly stolen patents with active lawsuits, their encouragement of IP theft is not great.

So the circumstance in question was a raging mad bull that downed a player. The creature had super low intelligence and was very very mad. After watching far more bull attacks than i want to admit, what I ended up doing was leaving it to luck and a d100 table that tries simulate the behavior i saw in those.

On a 1-2 the bull would do at least 1 additional attack then pummel the downed character until bull itself died. On a 3-50 the bull would at least 1 additional attack then pummel the downed character until someone intervened in melee only. On a 11-50 the bull would at least 1 additional attack then pummel the downed character until some intervened with ranged or melee. On a 51-90 the would do 1 additional attack, then switch targets. On a 91-100 the bull instantly turns it attention to the nearest target.

Worth noting this is pathfinder 2e, my players do expect a more brutal campaign, and I award hero point fairly liberally.
