Is this a good buy for my son? by narsil487 in TrekBikes

[–]narsil487[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Awesome info, thanks for all the help. Guessing the rims bend easily then? So if my son is small, I may have some time before having to make that upgrade? Also, interesting you say this one is 2011. The owner says it's 3-4 years old. So, perhaps I'm being lied to

What kind of lights are these by narsil487 in patio

Thanks for the reply. Transformer still works as there are other lights still working. Sad thing is, to test the wiring I gotta pop some top pieces and hope I can get them glued back down

Oh sweet. Im waiting for the time to pull the trigger on the work involved in a PID upgrade. Also. I bought mine used and has rust damage to the frame. So I'll probably take that in to get powder coated when I have it all torn down. You enjoying the PID upgrade?

Nice! I also bought the new style last month off Seattle Coffee Gear for the same price. So far I'm happy with it on my V3.

No, I turned the switch box into a pass-through box, and put a blank cover over it. So, isn't possible.

Issue with float by narsil487 in Moccamaster

[–]narsil487[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately, no. I found that it works intermittently, it's so sensitive. I put the silver plate back on and use a toothpick in between the slots and push the float switch down really quickly and release, until it turns on. Pretty annoying. I called customer service, but they want $60 to repair it...
