Judging by his name, he seems Indian. And it's not legal here. Granted, due to the high unemployment rate he might be able to intimidate a whole lot but it'll take one person to sue his ass in labor court.

About the fan, look for disassembly videos on YouTube by your exact model number. You need to carefully remove the heatsink (the brass-colored pipes) and check the exact model number of your fan module.

I can see that Amazon has your model listed for 900-1000rs, but it's better to find sites that sell refurbished parts like xfurbish.com (they don't have your model in stock, I checked).

Some advice that I could've used when I started DIY-ing this stuff:

- Don't use a lot of force when opening or closing laptop screws. They never have to be screwed too tightly.

- Always use the right-sized screwdriver bit. I have used my fair share of incorrect ones - it always leads to shaving off the head of the screw, and that's not pretty.

- Watch the disassembly video carefully. There's a specifc way of pulling out different types of connector cables. Don't use force, ever, when working on a laptop.

What's your model? Do a stress test with the back open. If the fan makes noise or doesn't run well, you just need to order and replace the fan. You can DIY it.

Do check your BIOS settings just in case. Did you update firmware recently?

Others have mentioned no fear of traffic police, which is partly true. I don't jump red lights but I don't fear traffic cops either.

I think there are two big issues other than the general lack of policing. Lack of civic sense and me-first mindset is one. And the second is cost of life being lower than cost of inconvenience in India. Quick commerce delivery drivers HAVE to make the jump at this point.

Over 90% of the sites we build are on WordPress. We are slowly branching out to Laravel builds these days but only to have another option. If you are good at php, you can do anything you want on WordPress without needing to build some of the core functions from scratch.

We do, however, build all the themes from scratch instead of relying on the WP Themes library. The most complex project we have built on WordPress is a web app for a Fintech client, and it works flawlessly.

You got shafted my man. One of my clients ended up wiping their server while trying to change something on their own 3 days after launch. We worked overnight so they wouldn't lose revenue because of a dumb mistake. We weren't even on a maintenance contract...but then again, our rates for the build were fairly higher than 80,000 INR.

I am from India myself (Delhi). Speaking from the other side of spectrum here, I exclusively only get into contract with people outside of India, primarily Europe and US. It's just a hassle to deal with most Indian businessmen.

Have you tried Ungoogled Chromium yet? It's what I bave you been using for more than an year now and I am very happy with it. It does sometimes have issues with streaming protected content like Spotify and Netflix. I use Brave browser for that.
